Mr. Patrick Wang is the Chairman of GPCS and Microelectronics Technology Inc., who has over 40 years of technical and strategic management experience in wireless communications industry. In 1983, Mr. Wang and seven Taiwanese engineers who were from leading high-tech firms in Silicon Valley USA, returned to Taiwan and founded Microelectronics Technology Inc.
(MTI) since 1983. Prior to MTI, Mr. Wang was at Hewlett Packard company for 17 years (1966-1983), where his research career began in thin film technology and then diverted to silicon bipolar technology. Later he focused his efforts on R&D for GaAs material and devices, and GaAs monolithic integrated circuits for microwave applications. Mr. Wang holds a BA degree from National Taiwan University, Taiwan and MSEE from Stanford University, USA. |
